This is a full-time, employed position requiring the physician to work 32 hours a week providing telehealth nocturnist coverage between 7pm to 7am.
We are looking for culturally responsive, well-respected, and entrepreneurial nocturnists (MDs and DOs) to provide virtual urgent care and primary care for one of our partners and serve as clinician leaders on a full-time employment basis. Nocturnists must be comfortable treating patients of all ages, including infants, children, adults, and older adults. For this position, nocturnists must have recent experience with all age populations, including experience providing care for an infant in the last 12 months. Physicians must also be comfortable treating across the entire primary care spectrum, including contraceptives, HIV prevention, and mental health medication management.
Physicians work independently and are responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making within industry and locally established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and organization policies and procedures. The content of medical decision-making focuses on common conditions that would present within an episodic, acute, or primary care medical practice. Additionally, there are several opportunities to participate as a clinician leader by means of developing and improving clinical protocols and processes, and working with a large network of clinicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
We are currently recruiting in all 50 states. Interested physicians must have active licenses in at least 5 US states.

Responsibilities
- Obtains histories, conducts virtual exams, documents findings, evaluates and diagnoses medical and behavioral health conditions, recommends treatment plans, constructs care plans, enlists support of other members of the team, and promotes peace of mind by investing in patient confidence
- Delivers patient care in high priority content areas, such as behavioral health, sexual health, or care targeting a range of common chronic conditions
- Demonstrates flexibility by adapting as needed to change processes and practice in an evolving environment

- Communicates effectively with other providers, including using comprehensive charting and messaging

Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy Medicine Degree (DO)
- Licensed as a physician in good standing in at least 5 states. Multiple state licensure strongly preferred
- Board-certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine, with recent practice experience treating all age groups including infants, children, adults, and older adults
- Available for nocturnist shifts 7pm – 7am
- 2+ years of post-residency experience in primary care, family practice, or urgent care
- Outstanding clinical expertise, evidenced-based practice
- Culturally responsive and competent, providing patient education at every visit
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Above average comfort with technology and assisting patients with troubleshooting technical difficulties that may occur in the home environment
- Timely and professional
- Typing WPM >40
