We now offer a comprehensive functional medicine plan that uses gut microbiome, hormone, micronutrient, and other testing (as appropriate). This plan is especially suited for patients who want to address a chronic illness or do a “deep dive” with a doctor trained in functional medicine.
SteadyMD is $99 per month for a twelve-month individual membership. There are no additional fees or co-pays.
There is no risk and no long-term commitment to get started. You may cancel anytime within the first month and you will only be billed for that one month.
This gives you the opportunity to have your first appointment with your SteadyMD doctor, get comfortable with them, and ensure that they are a good fit for you.
The SteadyMD annual membership allows our doctors to serve a limited number of patients and have significantly more time to dedicate to each patient. Our doctors have more time to think about you and develop a personal relationship with you.
Yes. The SteadyMD membership fee enables us to provide a level of personalized service (via our doctors and technology) that is not typically reimbursed by most insurers.
Yes. In most cases, the fee can be reimbursed by health savings accounts (HSA’s), flexible spending accounts (FSAs), medical savings accounts (MSAs), and health reimbursement accounts (HRAs).
If requested by your benefits administrator, we will provide you with a Statement of Services.
Please note that the fee cannot be paid using your HSA, FSA, MSA, or HRA debit or credit card. You will have to manually submit your claim.
You should keep your health insurance so that you are covered in case of a medical emergency.
Also, your SteadyMD doctor may refer you to a local lab or local specialist when needed. You would want to run those visits through your health insurance. We will help you find providers who take your insurance.
If you don’t have insurance, we can help you get a discounted cash price on prescriptions, bloodwork, and labs.
Some of our patients save money by downgrading their health insurance plan (e.g. from a Gold Plan to a Silver Plan) or by participating in a Medical Cost Sharing program.
When your SteadyMD doctor prescribes medications, refers you to a local lab, or refers you to a specialist near you, we will help you find the best available price and provider. We can help you decide whether or not to pay directly or run these through your insurance.
Some specialist visits can be handled completely online and at no cost to you. Your SteadyMD doctor has access to a team of specialists that they can consult with anytime when needed.
If you need to reschedule your first appointment, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note that your SteadyMD doctor prepares for your appointment and sets aside 60 minutes.
If you miss or cancel your first appointment within 24 hours, you will be charged a $50 fee.
